Life in Canada

So windy in fact that not one, but two trees came down in our backyard this afternoon. Power lines have come down, but fortunately we still have power. We are pretty sure we are going to need a new fence, but we will know more when we move the trees and can see the fence! I guess the main thing is that the house was spared.
The best news of the day is that the person who owns the tree does not have insurance to cover this.
Anyone got any advice?!
